About Mobilise

Mobilise is a self help organisation run for disabled people, by disabled people, and concerns itself with the needs of disabled people primarily by encouraging greater independance through enhanced mobility.

Mobility touches every aspect of disabled people's lives whether they are drivers or passengers. Using cars, wheelchairs, public transport or simply walking, Mobilise gives a clear lead in the fight to improve mobility and access and to put an end to discrimination and segregation.

Becoming a member

Your subscription fee includes access to both the Llanelli DDA and Mobilise resources, including:

Assistance from Mobilise National Headquarters - an information service provided by a dedicated, friendly team

Confidential telephone and eMail enquiries - help with matters such as Motability, driving licences, insurance, assessment and vehicle adaption choices

Publications - monthly Mobilise magazine

Local support - Llanelli and district area

Social activities - Outings and trips, lunches and dinners, discussions and meetings
